Adult Learn to Sail
This is a 3 session class for adults who want to learn to sail independently or just learn the basics! The course takes place at the Youngstown Yacht Club located on the scenic Lower Niagara River. There is typically one course offered per month from June-August.
Primarily taught in our RS Quests, we will teach you the basics of sail trim, points of sail, boat handling, docking, and more in a comfortable and stable boat. This course takes a hands-on approach to instruction in a relaxed environment with experienced US Sailing certified coaches.Upon completion of this course, you may be able to set up an on-water test with the instructor which could qualify you to charter an Ideal 18.

*If you do not have your own PFD, we can provide one for you to use
